Athens West Productions was formed in 1987 in Athens, Ohio for the purpose of serving the creative community as an "as needed" technical resource.

In this way, the client could quickly benefit from an informed examination of their project at an early stage while minimizing developmental resources. This vision qualification approach was later expanded to include the conceptual, design and production phases of product development.
